All lab diamonds are laser engraved to differentiate them from natural ones and are certified by IGI with Excellent cuts for maximum sparkle. Lab-grown diamonds are an excellent option, as diamonds are the hardest natural material on earth. This ensures the gemstone will never scratch or dull unless another diamond marks the surface. Diamond simulants like CZ and Moissanite are much softer than lab diamonds. The longevity and brightness of laboratory-grown diamonds are assured. We often compare a lab diamond to having ice in your freezer, which is manufactured (lab-grown), and ice from a glacier, which is natural; you would never distinguish between the two. Even trained diamond graders cannot identify lab diamonds without advanced equipment. They are laser engraved or marked on the outer edge (girdle) with the serial number and LG or Lab-Grown to separate them from natural diamonds.
