The process involves either opening the base of the ring to add a new piece of gold or platinum for resizing it to a larger size, or removing material to make it smaller. Additionally, we inspect the diamond or gemstone to ensure it is securely set. Resizing a ring is a complex task, and we are highly qualified to handle it. For a basic resize down, please allow for a minimum cost of $100. If additional gold or platinum is needed, the price will be slightly higher. Typically, resizing rings takes 5 to 10 business days; however, we can sometimes complete the process quickly if arranged in advance.
